I divide my time between Awabakal (Newcastle) and Woromi Lands (Forster) and am a passionate feminist and social justice advocate.
I am an introvert who loves reading, napping, knitting, tapestry, and spending time with my women friends and in nature. Trees are my inspiration, teaching me to remain steady in stormy weathers, with my roots deep inside mother earth.
I’m a (sometimes cranky) partner and the mum of a twenty-six-year-old daughter, who is also a fierce feminist and social worker and I am blessed to have their unwavering support.
I adore my two dogs and a fun fact about me is that I don’t drink alcohol, a hard-won decision that has enhanced the quality of my precious life significantly.
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where I work and live. I pay my respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. I celebrate the stories, culture, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
